December’s Conscious Covets

December came on quick after Thanksgiving

And I can’t believe it’s almost half way through the month already! Keep scrolling for what I’m loving this month and why!

I LOVE this ice roller.  When I wake up tired and puffy this is my go to so I can shake it off and look refreshed for the day.  I leave it in my freezer and when I take it out roll it on my forearm 10x to warm it up just a touch and then go all out all over my face, especially around my eyes.  Can’t recommend it enough!

I just started this book and it’s intriguing!  I’ve heard good things and so am excited to get going on it.  So far so good and I can tell that it’s a compelling story.  Definitely recommend!

I have been using this for over a decade. I put it on my hands, feet, and lips every night before bed. It’s especially effective in the winter time to prevent chapped hands. It absorbs quickly with out the use of “drying” alcohols. I also used this on Lincoln’s bottom when he was as baby. It’s truly an mulitpurpose balm and I can’t recommend it enough!

Grab a box of tissues before you watch this one. If you need some inspiration, this is your documentary. It’s an interesting story of Christopher Reeve’s life but also how he turned his tragedy into purpose. We “rented” it through Google if it’s not streaming on a channel you get.

This is one of my new favorite recipes - I’ve made it once a week for a few weeks now. This is great because it takes one sheet, takes about 10 minutes to prep and has ingredients you can keep in your fridge for an easy week night meal. If you don’t, I highly suggest that you subscribe to the NYT Cooking App. It’s around $40 and has SO many great, easy and delicious recipes. I used it every week. It would even be a great holiday gift!

These are so good! If you need a little afternoon treat these are a great go to as they are refined sugar free but also have cashews in them so the fat/protein will help mitigate a blood sugar spike. The subtle vanilla flavor gives them a little extra flavor. I’ve been carrying them in my bag for an easy grab.

I hope you enjoy this list as much as I do! I love sharing what’s worth while in my book. If you check any of this stuff out be sure to tag me on Instagram @AshleyPattenPilates and/or comment below!

xx, Ashley
