July’s Conscious Covets

July came and went,

but I think I say that about every month. Time seems to go faster and faster but I really am trying to stop and smell the roses along the way. Keep reading for what I got into this month. To kick things off, the outfit I’m wearing here on the left is my new favorite brand, Leallo. It’s cute, SO comfortable, reasonably priced and is a step above “athleisure”.

I bought these at the end of last summer after having a few tacos fall apart on me. We’ve all likely used these at some point at a restaurant and now that I have them I totally see why they’re so great! It’s easier to build your tacos and keep them together as you’re eating them. They stack neatly in your kitchen and I haven’t looked back after purchasing!

This stuff is the best - I’ve been using for years actually! But this summer my lips have been feeling the effects of the sun have been making my lips extra dry this summer and this stuff alway does the trick. I rarely wear lipstick/gloss this is my daily go to and I love it! Also, I have to mention that most lip balms make my lips break out and this does not! I buy 2 at a time and keep them in my purse and one in my vanity as a back up!

This is my new thing and I can’t recommend it enough! Wearing a weighted vest is proving to add increased bone density to our hips which is so essential as we age. Wearing one for a walk, run, housework, workouts, etc. is a great way to up the ante and give us that extra bone density and muscle mass we all need in a way that requires little to no extra effort (aside from the extra work we will get out of wearing one!) I love Omorpho - their 5 pound vest is one of my favorite things I’ve bought this year! The link below will give you 15% off at check out - if it’s not populating for you use ASHLEY15 at check out!

I LOVE these. They are an easy way to be beach chic but also reasonable with your shoe choice. I’ve been wearing them all summer and are perfect for a trip to the beach, a sundress, or cutoffs. I brought these on my recent trip to the midwest and they were one of 3 pairs of shoes I brought for the whole trip. The best part is they won’t break the bank!

Honestly, I couldn’t get into this book and I didn’t even finish it! I read 200 pages of it and had to stop. It’s won many awards and accolades so the reason I have it on this list is, I want to know - did you like this book and/or read it?! If so, I want to hear your thoughts because I just couldn’t do it! Drop them in the comments below!

This show was SO GOOD in my opinion and a great follow up to Presumed Innocent. If you watched this or watch it after you read this, please message me! I really need to talk to someone about the ending and would love to know your thoughts!

I hope you enjoy this list as much as I did last month! If you check any of these things out and love them, be sure to tag me on Instagram and/or comment below (especially on this pesky book The Bee Sting!)

xx, Ashley
