May’s Conscious Covets

As per usual, May came and went. It was a super busy month as my husband and I were both traveling, my mother was visiting, and my son is in full swing of baseball season (no pun intended). I was able to take a moment to read, watch, eat, smell and more. Keep reading for all I got into last month!

To kick things off, the set you see me wearing above is from Beyond Yoga and has quickly become my new favorite. I love the mesh top as it’s so cute but also not too hot as the warmer months come around. The color of the pants is a cool blue so very neutral with most kinds of sneakers. Check this whole outfit out here and the link will give you 20% off at check out!

This was recommended to me by a friend and wow is this a good show. It’s based on a true story and is deeply disturbing. It has a great cast including Elvis’s Great Grand Daughter, Riley Keough!

I loved this book. It’s a beautiful story about a woman finding her way, finding her people, and finding love both of herself and others. The subtle message of how the people we keep in our circle can define us, bring us up, or bring us down. I checked this out from the NYPL and can’t recommend it enough!

Peonies

Peonies are in season and they’re SO beautiful. They’re one of my favorite flowers. My dad is a florist so I have a natural attraction to flowers and if you follow me on instagram or do my videos you know I love having plants and flowers around. This combo I recently put together is perfection as it has height, depth, volume, and is beautifully fragrant. It’s a combo of pink peonies, lily’s, and delphinium. If you have a local florist or market I highly recommend buying from them and not a supermarket. The quality will be SO much better and you’ll be supporting a small business.

This is the newest style from my favorite, Suzie Kondi. Her clothes are so comfortable, timeless, and work both in the studio and out. I don’t buy for trend I buy for comfort, fit and style. I love supporting small female founded brands and this is definitely one of my favs! The cut of the top is very flattering and makes your posture look great. The pants are flowy so super comfortable and perfect for a warm day.

I found this in the health food store I go to in Montauk and WOW is it good! We ate all of the cookies in one night! It’s dairy free, gluten free, grain free, low in sugar and the perfect thing to have in your freezer when you’re craving a sweet treat!

Neck Scarves

I had the privilege to travel to Montana back in May. I stayed right at Yellowstone and it was so fantastic (blog post on that coming soon!). I love spending time in nature and exploring new cultures. I stopped in Bozeman on my way to/from the airport and picked up this embroidered handkerchief. It’s the prettiest color and is lovely around the neck. It’s cowboy meets old school chic. I will be keeping up this look with some of my other neck scarves to protect my neck from the sun this summer.

Thanks for reading! I love sharing things I think are actually worth it! If you check any of these out and love them as much as I do, be sure to tag me on Instagram @AshleyPattenPilates and/or comment below!
