My Go To Salad Dressing
I usually eyeball everything and make a batch for a few days. I bring it to the studio so when I make a fresh salad in the morning for work I don’t have to fuss with finding a container for the dressing, etc. You could do the same for at home or your own office! You can also make a smaller serving if you need it for a single serving. I always save jars from mustard, jelly, etc. to repurpose for this very use as you can throw it in the jar, give it a good shake and will be ready to enjoy.
The below will yeild enough for 4 salads or so.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil (organic and stored in a dark glass bottle if you can!)
1/4 cup apple cidar vinegar
2 tbsp dijon (or stone ground, you can mix it up depending on what you have/are in the mood for!)
small splash of water (2ish tbsp)
sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
occasionally I had a spot of honey/hot honey for a little bit of sweet/kick to mix things up depending on what’s in the salad that day!
Method:
place all ingredients in a glass jar and shake until completely combined
store in the fridge and use as needed
I hope you love this as much as I do. It’s the easiest way to make your salads go the distance from flavor to nutrition. If you make this and love it be sure to tag me on Instagram @AshleyPattenPilates and/or comment below!
