Bluey Smoothie

If you have a young child or grandchild,

You probably know the show Bluey by now. I think it is so cute and very funny - not to mention tolerable considering the other options out there. This smoothie came together thanks to some inspiration from 2 of my son’s babysitters. We gave their suggestions a try and voila, the Blue Smoothie has emerged. This is full of good for you ingredients that the young child in your life will love! Keep reading for the easy how to.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1/4 cup-ish frozen blueberries

  • 1/4 cup-ish frozen pineapple

  • 1/4 tsp blue spirulina

  • small handful ice

  • optional: protein powder

Method:

  • Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth and combined.

  • Enjoy immediately while watching an episode of Bluey!
